HUNNY made a name for themselves in early 2015 releasing their debut single "Cry for Me" which was met with universal acclaim gaining more than 1 million plays since. The project began as a solo effort from front man/guitarist Jason Yarger who brought the music to his long time friends and collaborators Jake Goldstein on guitar, Gregory Horne on bass, Joey Anderson on drums, and Kevin Grimmett on keys, rounding out the band and establishing the unique blend of pop and 80's post punk.
Their debut EP "Pain/Ache/Loving" (produced by Eric Palmquist) channels a wide array of influences, blending post-punk tendencies with their love for classic artists like Prince and The Cure. The result is a lovelorn themed EP that paints a colorful picture of heartbreak and frustration through angst driven anthems like their song "Natalie". Their new self produced singles "Vowels (and the Importance of Being Me)" and "Colder Parts" show the incredible dynamic and growth of the band as they clearly forge towards a long and meaningful career.
